Sustainability
A top priority for us is to be a responsible, good neighbour in the communities where we live, work and operate. As we engage our stakeholders, we take a collaborative approach, and believe in sharing ideas, expectations and solutions to benefit everyone involved. Moreover, we continually make health, safety and environment a top priority and work with all of our stakeholders.

We aim to be a leader in everything that we do, and we know that our employees embody this approach by leading the way both at work and in the communities where we live, work and operate.
Giving back is a core part of our culture, which is why we support our employees by amplifying charitable efforts through our employee giving program, PATH (Pembina Actions That Help), which includes donation matching, dollars for doers, and volunteerism.
Pembina Gas Infrastructure partners with local, provincial/state, and national non-profit and charitable organizations that support Indigenous and Tribal communities, promote safety, equity and inclusion, and encourage a sustainable energy future:
Our goal: Communities are safe, inclusive places where all members have equitable access to opportunities, services and spaces that foster a strong sense of belonging. Thriving local economies give everyone an equitable opportunity to succeed. This includes:
- Understanding and reducing barriers that prevent diverse and inclusive local economies
- Ensuring everyone can reach their full potential through skills training and capacity building
- Developing a diverse workforce that is representative of the communities where we live and work
- Ensuring first responders, hospitals, and mental health providers have the resources they need
- Creating or renovating community spaces that are accessible for all
Our goal: Communities, government, and industry work together to protect the natural environment for future generations. Citizens benefit from a sustainability-driven economy that improves energy and environmental outcomes and contributes to local economic prosperity. This includes:
- Protecting and conserving land, water, air, and wildlife
- Ensuring communities have access to education, training, and capacity building programs focused on sustainability and the energy transition
- Supporting community energy initiatives that embody new ways of thinking about and acting on energy opportunities, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, and clean energy technologies
- Providing support to people and/or organizations leading innovative decarbonization projects and initiatives
